Australian entertainer Zahra abandoned a legal career for pole dancing and now teaches at Suzie Q Pole Studio in Sydney, where she is writing her thesis on feminist striptease. She has appeared in Picture, Penthouse and Cosmo magazines, has had her bum featured on the front page of the Sydney Morning Herald in a mass nude artwork, had her fun pits photographed for ABC television in a protest of airbrushing of women's labias in men's magazines, lent her voice to a short film featuring talking vaginas giving their perspectives on sex, appeared in Cosmo features on pornography and body image and spoken out against the censorship of female ejaculations in adult films on Triple J Radio.
As a pole dancer, trapeze artist, art model and adult actress, Zahra likes getting dirty onstage with fire, dry ice, wings, fetish rope, latex, and promoting women's fantastic multiplicity and diversity onstage.
Zahra Stardust is the October 2010 Penthouse Pet, Miss Centrefold Oceania 2011, Miss Nude Dancers Cabaret 2010, Miss Pole Sydney Sexpo 2009 and the Australian Pole Dance Open Pairs Champion with Stacey Minx in 2009.
She has performed in the Netherlands, Germany, Sweden, Japan and Austria (at the World Bodypainting Festival, Amsterdam Burlesque Festival, and Miss Pole Dance Barvaria).
Zahra recently stirred up Australian politics as a Senate candidate for the Australian Sex Party.
Zahra will be performing her amazing aerial act on stage at Erotica 2011 in Auckland from 5th to 7th August 2011 as well as appearing on Boobs On Bikes® on Thursday 4th August.
