In our ever more cluttered modern world time and money are commodities that are increasingly hard to come by. At the same time, promoting your business gets harder every day as there is more and more competition (read ‘clutter’) for your advertising and marketing dollars.
We all need to target our marketing to ensure we have the greatest chance of reaching potential clients for minimum spend-per-client. Really, what is the point in promoting a new car, motorbike, spa-pool or hunting rifle to a pre-schooler or school student? To do so is simply to waste your money, your time, and your opportunities.
You need to pre-qualify potential customers before you try and sell to them.

iWant is an all new public exhibition aimed at presenting quality products and services to a discerning adult audience in an atmosphere that facilitates the sales and marketing process without the distracting presence of children.
iWant is restricted to visitors over the age of sixteen years. Why?
- If you are a potential exhibitor at iWant then people less than sixteen years of age are unlikely to be your customers.
- iWant pre-qualifies your clients for you so that during the exhibition you and your staff only need to interact with people with whom there exists the real potential to do business.
- iWant provides exhibitors with an environment in which they can interact with pre-qualified clients without the distracting presence of children, thereby maximising the opportunity for sales staff to interact constructively with their potential clients.
- If your product is delicate, expensive or otherwise prone to easy damage, or if you simply don’t want to have to clean grubby hand prints off it every five minutes, iWant represents an opportunity for you to present your product to the mass public without the worry of children.
If you have a product or service that is aimed at adults then iWant represents an unprecedented opportunity to market and sell your wares to your target market without fear of distraction.
iWant is not gender specific or gender targeted like some other expos. We recognise that in many, if not most, cases both halves of a couple need to be involved in the buying process for any significant purchase. Our marketing programmes target all adults.
Other expos typically try to sell as much exhibition space as they can without consideration of the competitive forces that apply to their exhibitors; there may be literally dozens of exhibitors selling the same types of products. Not only is this boring and repetitive for visitors to the event, it significantly reduces the sales opportunities for exhibitors as visitors become overwhelmed by choice. We have a different approach.
It is not the aim of iWant to become BIG in terms of exhibitor numbers, only big in terms of visitors, variety and value. We intend to limit the number of exhibitors in each category so that our exhibitors are given the best possible opportunity to promote and sell their products or services.
We will be limiting our exhibitors per product category so if, for example, you are a manufacturer or importer of spa-pools and decide to exhibit; at most there will only be one or two other spa-pool exhibitors at the show.
We want long-term relationships with our exhibitors so those that exhibit one year will be given preference over new entrants in subsequent years.
Importantly, we will be favouring those that make an effort to add value to the experience of visitors to iWant, these visitors are our and your customers. For us, and you, to succeed at the expo it is important that the public who attend have an experience that makes them want to buy from you, want to tell their friends and want to come back next year. In short, we want them to want iWant in the knowledge that if they save their purchasing decision for the show they are likely to get a little added value with the experience.
