Erotica Reveals All!!

YEARS of planning will finally bear fruit when Auckland's first Erotica expo opens in less than a month. And organiser Fiona Gibb says the three-day show, from August 4 to 6, will bring together more than 30 exhibitors from a vast array of sectors, at the New Zealand Exhibition Centre in Greenlane, Auckland.

"The stands range from adult entertain-ment-for example Australian Penthouse-lin-gerie, and urban street wear, all the wav through to strippers, tattooists and spa pools."

She says the expo is about more than just sex.

"It's about lifestyle," says Gibb. "People who visit know this is an R18 venue expo-it's not sleazy, we're trying to demystify the whole concept." Modelled on the "sexpo" and "erotica" ex-pos in Australia and England, Gibb says inter-est in the event has been amazing despite its controversial content.

"We're already pre-selling tickets," she says. And the expo definitely has a future. Gibb already has plans for next year's event.which is expected to be held in November.
