Highlight the first weekend in August in your social calendar that is when New Zealand's first Erotica Adult Concepts and Lifestyle Expo is being held at the NZ Exhibition Centre in Greenlane, Auckland. Erotica is a public exhibition looking at all aspects of adult health, sexuality and lifestyle. The aim of the event is to provide adults with access to frank and accurate information about, and direct exposure to, a wide range of quality products and services.

Similar shows held elsewhere in the world have attracted enormous followings. For example the 1999 Melbourne Sexpo attracted over 70,000 visitors; 44% of whom were female. An exit pole revealed that visitors came from all walks of life and included a diverse range of adults, mostly between 25 and 55 years old.

This is an event that is not only about sex. The name Erotica is simply a marketing tool for an exhibition about anything to do with adult health, sexuality and lifestyle. Primarily, Erotica is about fun, especially responsible, safe fun. The event offers the perfect marketing venue for anyone who provides a service or product that an adult would be interested in.

As well as offering a broad range of exhibitors from a mineral water producer to adult shops, Erotica features an extravagant range of stage entertainment including strippers; foam wrestlers, fashions parades and a tattoo exhibition. The show even caters to the needs of rugby fans with the 3rd round of the Bledisloe Cup playing live on the expo massive 4m x 3m on stage screen wall from 2:30 pm on Saturday 5th August. What better way to see the game: and wait until you see the half time entertainment.

Erotica will also provide, for the first time in New Zealand, a forum for all groups associated with adult issues to inform the community of the role they play.

Simply speaking, Erotica will be the most talked about and fun public exhibition New Zealand has ever seen.
