He may have been plagued by financial difficulties this year but porn-magnate Steve Crow has not let that stop this year's Boobs On Bikes from going ahead. As usual a menagerie of topless pornstars will descend Queen Street in a variety of open-top cars, while onlookers from all walks of life line the streets.
3 News will bring you live updates of the event, along with photographs and later in the day an extended, uncensored video of the parade.
The parade starts at 12:45pm but check back at about 11:45am for the first updates.
We would love to get your opinion about the parade - so please feel free to comment at the bottom of this story. Is the parade harmless fun for all (or some of) the family or an out-of-date and offensive tribute to the obscene?

I love boobs, if firm, appealing etc...but not on a motorbike in town. Naked bathing is bad enough, this is worse. Bodies are beautiful when cared for, but parading them like that is negative to society...and is only about porn. Ladies, all men aren't the same...we don't all like this in our face either.

Yes, you can just see it's a hated event by the massive turnout at both boobs on bikes and the erotica expo. A lot of other places in the world almost no one would complain at sexy gals driving naked down the street. But in nz, where most are wowzers who live to complain,what else would you expect but complaints. Love the erotica expo..been many times and will keep going, as will many others i know. I think it's heterosexism when John Banks allows Boobs on Bikes and all the nudity and frivolivty which goes with this, but when the Gay Hero Parade was on John Banks opposed it and stopped it because of the supposed nudity and frivolity!! So heterosexual boobs are okay but lesbian boobs aren't...??
