There's outrage among the Auckland business community that the Boobs on Bikes parade has coincided with Air New Zealand Fashion Week in the city.
The controversial annual parade travelled down Queen Street at lunchtime.
Newmarket Business Association chief Cameron Brewer says the "tacky" parade is a bad look and the timing couldn't be worse.
He says he's hoping international buyers and media at Fashion Week will have their heads down and be too busy to notice what's going on down Queen Street.
Brewer says it's a shame such a "trashy" event is going on at the same time that New Zealand's creative sector is putting its best foot forward.
Earlier, the parade organiser Steve Crow said his year's parade would bigger and better with twice as many participants expected.
Crow said unlike other years there had been no real objection to the parade this time.
Police presence at the parade was high but it was fairly quiet as the crowd remained orderly, though eager for a view and a photo.
The parade's special guest is American "entertainer" Chelsea Charms whose breasts weigh nearly 12 kilos each.
Last year's parade was opposed by the city council and a protest march of around 60 people walked silently along the street, protesting against the free advertising they say the parade gave to Crow and his pornography business
